Nestlé Horta

Collab
What the customer wanted

The objective of this action was to honor Nestlé’s commitment to ‘Feed a Better Future’ and to engage in the Nestlé for Healthier Kids project, which is always aiming for the betterment of the eating habits of families and to inspire kids to lead healthier lives around the world.

What we delivered

We connected Sandro Testinha from the NGO Social Skate, Juliana Oliveira from the Nestlé Foundation and Luisa Haddad from Pé de Feijão.

With the support given by Ju Oliveira and Luisa Haddad, we managed to convert a garbage point into a community garden and today we are empowering the community to take care and maintain the space in the long term with autonomy. In addition to implementing the garden, with more than 40 different types of seedlings, we built an irrigation structure, a declaration of compost, food and environmental education workshops for families and we will support them with technical assistance for 5 months.

And to give more potential to this blend we added another impact-maker: Ronaldo Land, who trains kids from the favelas to enter in the TV/cinema universe. He created for us a web-series to inspire other communities in Brazil to follow Testinha's footsteps.
