Murilo was born in the Limão neighborhood, and despite his current love for bicycles, during his adolescence he found in skateboarding the freedom of the streets. Dissatisfied with his career in marketing, he took a post-graduate course in Educommunication at the University of São Paulo and lived in Lisbon to implement a project for a Brazilian NGO. In 2011, with his savings and three other friends, he started Aromeiazero. Since then he takes care of fundraising, communications, manages projects and had his experience presented as one of the keynote speakers at Velo-City Rio 2018. Since then he is part of the judging commission of the event and is a social entrepreneur of Red Innova from Fundacion Mapfre and IE Business School.
