Kat Wendelstadt is a serial health tech entrepreneur, investor and growth specialist. Currently she serves as Chief Growth Officer at thymia.ai, a London-based startup that uses voice, video and behavioural data to make mental health as objectively measurable as physical health. Prior to joining Thymia, she was CMO at Praava Health from 2019 to 2022. In 2017, she co-founded Amparo, a chain of primary care clinics that was acquired by one of Brazil’s largest diagnostic companies. Kat also served as CMO of Dr.Consulta, Latin America’s largest chain of primary care clinics, where she grew the business from 4 to 30 clinics in less than 18 months. In 2013, she was one of the original co-founders of Helixnano, a biotech firm out of Singularity University that was invested in by Johnson & Johnson, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Bill Gates’ VC, Breakthrough Energy Ventures.
Kat also sits on the advisory board of Octopus Ventures Tenx Health and is a keen angel investor and startup mentor.
